Dear Dora Harned,

I am 12 years old and I have been collecting insulators for 2 years. I have mostly common, and I have accumulated about 226 insulators.

I recently received an insulator from a friend. This insulator puzzles me because I have seen nothing like it. It is made of clear glass and has a K on the front. If you could give me some information on this insulator, I would appreciate it.
Thank you,
Matt Barriage

Dear Matt,

Thank you for writing. These "mini" glass objects are found or used in neon signs. That's about all I know about them. I don't know if they would be classified as insulators but they do look like little ramshorns.

Dear Dora,

In answer to a request for information on C.D. 126, by Hank Golet, Milk Creek Road, Old Lyme, CT 06371, in Sept. '74 issue of Crown Jewels (sorry for going asleep at the switch, Hank), I have five. I describe as marked on side of Crown.

No. 1, 2, 3 and 4 are light aqua blue. No. 5 is light green, near emerald. All have mold line over dome and have swirl start on threads, round smooth base. I received them from the State of Oregon.
